The Intern (2015)

08 Oct 2015

Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) is living by himself.

If he felt sorry for himself he could have just killed himself after his wife died.

Or he could have died a natural death after his wife died.

But no, he neither killed himself nor died after his wife died. He made himself busy by employing some routines in his everyday life.

Serendipitously, he encountered an advertisement by an eCommerce fashion company called About The Fit. They were hiring senior interns who were 65 years old or older. When he applied, he was accepted.

The founder, Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway), didn’t really initiated this program. It was actually Cameron (Andrew Rannells).

Why would Jules, a very busy person, need to add more burden to her already overloaded schedule?

Ben seems like someone unnecessary or someone who would not make any impact at all.

Most people, when they are making movie reviews, will focus on the pleasure or the entertainment they got out of watching a movie.

Or they will criticize how the actor or the actress or the cast had performed. I would not like to just dwell on these things. I would like to get some wisdom out of every movie I watch.

Before, my intention of getting wisdom was to better myself so that I would look good to beautiful women.

Now it’s different.

I would like to get wisdom and just apply it to my life. I am not here to please beautiful women anymore. If you don’t want me, I don’t mind.

Ben is a real gentleman. He might be a little old-fashioned, but it is not just because of habit. It is because he has good taste. He wears suits and carries a handkerchief with him.

One of the benefits of carrying a handkerchief with you is that you can offer it to a crying woman you are interested in. I also carry a handkerchief, but not because I expect to offer it to a crying woman.

This pretty much boils down to sex, and then perhaps marriage and family.

I am carrying a handkerchief with me because sometimes my body resistance is very low due to excessive sex with beautiful women.

I need my handkerchief so that when my nose is runny I have something to wipe it off.

Why does eating and fucking beautiful women feels so good?

When Fiona (Rene Russo) introduced herself to Ben, she massaged his torso.

Ben’s officemates, Davis (Zack Pearlman) and Jason (Adam DeVine), noticed that Ben’s dick became hard because of what Fiona was doing to him while he was sitting at his table.

When Ben went to the massage room to tell Fiona about something, Fiona insisted him in sitting on the sofa chair so that she could give him a foot massage.

Then Davis came in, he thought that Fiona was giving Ben a blowjob. But it was actually just a foot massage that seems like a blowjob.
